I wanted to do this short as a proof of concept. I've been having trouble editing and particularly color timing some high definition footage codecs. So I took this footage, shot this past weekend, and transcoded it into a different smaller codec and, viola, this time my computer didn't choke. Shot this with the Canon 7D and Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. Edited in Final Cut Pro and color timed with Magic Bullet Looks. Conformed for Internet streaming and cropped for a widescreen 2.35:1 ratio with Quicktime 7. Nice cinematic ratio that 2.35 to one, huh?
