Short day's edit.

Shot on Canon 7D, Opteka 6.5mm fish eye, homemade handle.

The shoot was primarily to test the angle of view of the lens, and handle.

Still getting used to the setup.

That was really good Tim, I love the first song, it goes well with any montage.

The first trick attempt looked so close to being a lens hit.

good stuff, now that fisheye isnt the same as the 8mm samyang/opteka fish is it? if not would you recommend the 6.5mm over the 8mm.
    thanks

Hey man, yeh it is the same. The Opteka is advertised as 6.5mm, and the Samyang is advertised as 8mm. all the same lens just different brand names!

Fun clip. I'm also considering this fisheye for some surf/skate filming. The only drawback of the lens would be the image quality of the pictures you'd get with it. Although I've heard they're not bad, I've also heard they're not good. For video, the image quality is great though. This is the same lens, correct?

The quality of that lens is awesome. Check my 'day at the lake' edit, that shows the true clarity of the Opteka/rokinon/samyang optics.
