It was done at 29.970 progressive.. For some reason lately I've been having a problem with it, I need to go through every setting because I am overlooking something. I was messing with 24p footage and I thought I changed it all back but I can't seem to find what I forgot to change.

a lot of editing programs will edit only interlaced at 1080 resolution, so even if you shoot in 30p mode, the program will only edit it in 30i.

The only thing you need to do to switch from 24pf to 30p is func., Menu, rec. in, HD Standard, 30p. If your still having problems, I would guess that it's a problem with the editing program, not the camera.

I use Vegas. I did the trick where you remove the 24p from the 60i shell it's in so it was true 24p, but I changed everything back but for some reason this video still gave me interlaced

I'm trying things out with a new random video just to see whats up. Hopefully it was just that video causing it though.
