hi chris, i'm interested in this as a personal solution to have a virtualized desktop running on a server at home available to me on internet cafe computer, my iphone, ipad, and/or devices as i travel.

    is this possible?

one other BIG question i had was how you were able to use a mouse on an iPad? was that demo for real?

    thanks,

    mark

Right now this is business solution for companies that have Citrix XenApp or XenDesktop.
The mouse movement is acheived by a feature called Wireless Trackpad paired to a Receiver enabled iPhone.

It sounds great in theory, but trying to use window controls is nearly impossible (the buttons in the top right corner) if you're not using an input device like the mouse. Not to mention trying to resize and move windows, it's a total nightmare. How does Citrix intend to address these basic usability problems in current Microsoft Windows applications that were never designed to work with touch based input?

Hi Jon, you need to try the 4.2 Release that just came out. It includes an onscreen trackpad with mouse pointer that makes it easy to see and click on any element on a windows app. Resizing windows is easy with touch and drag. We also include gestures like swipe up/down to scroll and swipe left/right to page forward/back.
