Young Russian scientist Alexander Ermakov has lost any hope in post-soviet madness and went to the UK. Doing scientific research in Britain, he’ll never forget the Mystical Image of Dolly the sheep that changed his life and supported him trough the difficult times.

was born in Moscow in 1973. He graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1986 with a major in biology. In 1998 he completed coursework for script writers and directors at the Leonid Gurevich workshop for makers of documentary films. Shortly after, he began to complete projects as a director for different cinema studios and television stations in Russia. He is a recipient of several prizes at international film festivals including the “Cinema du Reel” (Paris, Best Short Film); “Cinema Huesca” (Spain, Special Jury Prize); “Message to Man” (Russia, Prize from the V. Astafyov Fund) and many others. He is a member of the RF Cinematography Union and a member of the Guild of Directors of Real-Life Cinema
