In 1957-58, Frank Lloyd Wright worked on his plans for greater Baghdad. Wright was among many elite western architects invited to Iraq as part of a campaign to modernise the capital city. Among his designs were an art museum which was never realised.
Following the destruction and looting of the National Museum of Iraq of 2003, Charlesworth, Lewandowski & Mann created a fictional guide to a museum, based on Frank Lloyd Wrights plans, utilising YouTube footage from tourists visiting many of the worlds great museums and galleries. A voiceover provides information verbatim from the wikipedia entry on the plan for Greater Baghdad.
