Thanks Brian. I had been looking forward to this weekend since I started doing timelapses about 6 months ago. Too bad I had to move 2 times which ruined 2 of my planned shoots that night.

great video. I've always loved the atmosphere set off by carnivals and amusement parks. Even though I have a phobia of rides.. even the kiddy ones.
  • Lucasberg (Joey) plus 2 years ago
    Thanks
My wife and I went back the next day and rode the rides and were were scared.

Wow fantastic, almost surreal, You just drop the footage into a 24p timeline?
  • Lucasberg (Joey) plus 2 years ago
I cheated it a little since I didn't get enough shots. I imported the pictures at a 15fps clip in a 30p timeline.

nice cheat and it works well :)

That's what I do, who says you have to be at 24fps?

Nice job man, I like how wobbly the carousel is. That place was packed!
  • Lucasberg (Joey) plus 2 years ago
Thanks Andrew, and thanks for the info.

It was so crowded I had to find places out of the way which wasn't the best composition. The rides were scary.

Some really nice shot there. I notice the frames are blended together though. It might look better if you make the timeline 15FPS. Vimeo will keep it as is.
  • Lucasberg (Joey) plus 2 years ago
Thanks Jason, I will try that .

I think you can make money selling some of these clips. They really seem professionally done.

Where is a good stock site to sell video ?

You're my inspiration! I now learned I can do basically the same with my (cheap) canon a590. Thanks!

    Like this night time time-lapse.

So is this really just 3 mins total footage? (1min 3 sec x 3 sec (exposure time+interval)) ?
  • Lucasberg (Joey) plus 1 year ago
    Thanks
These were pictures rendered as an image sequence. It was about 1000 pictures and about 35 minutes of shooting time.
