AmbientBlack is pleased to present our newest creation, "Green Electrons," as a part of ME'DI.ATE's GREEN>SOUND festival this summer. We proposed this new piece in response to their request for new GREEN audio works.

Civilization has exploited electrons for two centuries. Without electrons, there would be no thermonuclear devices, no weaponized ceteans, and no capital electrocutions. Contrarily, there would be no solar panels, no hybrid cars, and no internet. Ultimately what is proper or improper use of technology is a judgment rendered by humans, subject to debate over the period of many years. Electrons are “green” not by their nature but by virtue of their application.
