The lab scene:
Israel (the lead) brings Gerber, his latest crush, home after having been seen in public with him by one of his Emo buddies. Up until now, Gerber has been teasing Israel by giving him mixed messages about his sexuality. This is the first scene in the screenplay where Israel and Gerber are alone out of the public's eye.

The short film acquired 7 licensing deals. Three TV deals with Arté/ZDF (France, Germany) and Logo/ MTV (USA) and OUTtv Canada; and it appears on 4 DVD compilations in the territories of N. America, UK/Ireland, France and Germany.

Dish (the feature film)
I am currently in the process of making a feature film of Dish.

"Dish" (the feature) was also 1 of 8 projects selected to take part in the 2010 Film Independent Directors Lab. During the lab I received mentoring from notable directors such as Catherine Hardwicke (director of Thirteen, Twilight, Little Red Riding Hood) and Rodrigo Garcia (director of Big Love, In Treatment HBO, Albert Nobbs) and several other notable film professionals. I also was given a stipend and resources to shoot an additional scene from the feature script.
