A l'occasion de la Journée Mondiale de l'Eau, BDDP Unlimited, partenaire de l’ONG Solidarités International, spécialisée dans la couverture des besoins vitaux (dont la fourniture en eau), a créé un événement grand public inédit : pour mieux surprendre les passants, l'agence a imaginé une affiche d'un nouveau genre, utilisant directement l'eau comme média. Un mur d’eau événementiel a été installé en plein coeur de Paris et a délivré pendant une semaine des messages provoquant la prise de conscience des passants sur les dégats causés par l’eau non-potable dans le monde.

    Is it right?? For me, saying that is steal already made concept, and for a commercial agency, it's pretty bad.

    Please, when you steal idea from artist, don't say your create, but you're re-use work of the artist.

    It is Julius Popp whom made that for the MOMA in New York in 2008, two years after, some still remenber, we are not all zapping/consuming people.
  • We filmed this event in collaboration with Solidarites International. We are also both artists & know Julius Popp's amazing instalation at MOMA. For once a very powerful & creative concept is being employed for a very worthy & non profit humain cause, to communicate with the public & possibly even save lives. This is a very grave problem & it's not just about who invented a concept. I honestly don't think Julius would mind his work saving a few lives....

    I understand the fact that you use these amazing and powerful way of communicate, put what I don't accept is the text below the video, you don't create this advert especially for Solidarite. You use this for communicate, but don't create it. And I have no doubt, Julius wouldn't mind, but don't appropriate yourself work from other.
    If I use a Smart for some off-road, I don't create a off-road Smart, this became not my own concept.

    Ok.... I'm not a mathematician but I do have a calculator.
    This video says that 7,776,000 people die every year from bad drinking water. That's close to 8 million people a year. It's a great video with great intentions but it seems to me that they are exaggerating a bit with the numbers.
