The challenge for this project is to create a playful narrative about a challenging subject. The solution is to feature the most unlikely and seemingly insignificant object as a main character and award it with a proud personality. "Down to Earth" is about the life of a conceited Twig with a distorted self-image. Narrated with a similar voice of clichéd pick-up lines, the approach uses custom typography that was designed and animated to reflect the overall irreverent yet playful mood of the piece.
