On March 28th, 2010 at approximately 9:49 PM a 75 ton structural section called the 'bowtie', because of its shape, was lifted into position. by J.F.White Contracting.
The lifting chores were performed by Hallamore's Terex/Demag CC2800 lattice crane crew from Boston's Local 4 Operating Engineers.
Bolt-Up work performed my members of the Boston's Local 7 Ironworkers for Saugus Construction Corp.
By morning almost 300 connecting bolts were applied securing the bowtie to the upright structural columns.
