Our show this week focused on two grassroots groups of people who build community. This second half-hour shared time with three guests who like to share food. Monica Bryant, Travis Kerschen, and Michelle Gunnet take part in a collective that cooks and brings food to the plaza near the downtown library several evenings a week to share with people who have no shelter. Food Not Bombs (foodnotbombs.net/ ) exists autonomously world wide, giving a valuable model for how our species can do well.
