    I enjoy the coot diving style: they seem to hang suspended for an instant as they get themselves straight-on before they plunge.

    John, thanks for the comment - hopefully if I make a "Born Under a Thorn 4" that might show the youngsters starting to dive and possibly taking their first low level flights across the water.
