This was shot on our "May 24 weekend" which actually fell on the 17th this year.
We arrived around 3pm and it was cool out. The rest of the weekend it rained and we froze (+2C). Spirits remained high and we had a lot of fun. 4 adults and 5 kids in the camper (can't imagine it? Think of peeling back the top of a sardine can)

Because of the rain, I didn't get a lot of the shots that I wanted to. So I made the shots I did get as interesting as possible.

Hope you enjoy!

What a great video, Brian. Raynox looks great, great composure of your scenes.

My wife wants a pop up trailer like that!

Also, I liked your split screens and new graphics, too. Hey'd you go Pro on us?
  • Brian Boudreau 3 years ago
    Thanks Hoop

Im far from Pro trust me. With so many great videos on vimeo Im just trying to keep up.

Its fun learning something new each time :)

Hey I feel like an unofficial member of the family after watching that. :)

On the real, though, I think I would have had to bust out a tent instead of cramming myself into one camper with 8 other people!

    Thanks Tom

It was cramped to say the least, but it was a lot of fun.

I was out with my dog and the air felt good and there was a nice breeze. I thought to myself, "I really need a vacation bad! Sure would love to get lost in the woods for a week." Then I came home and watched your movie. It sure looked like you had fun. Thanks for reminding me I need to have fun every once in awhile.

Your shots look great. Love the split screen, too. What wide angle did you use?
  • Brian Boudreau 3 years ago
Thanks Herbie. I used the Raynox HD 6600 Pro

Nice!!!! Nothing better than a home movie that's actually watchable and not a sleep aid after the first 30 seconds..
  • Brian Boudreau 3 years ago
thanks Jon. I wanted to make it as interesting as possible.

Ahhh... the great outdoors! Looks like you captured some great memories there. I really liked the hi-speed tear down at the end. Nice touch.
  • Brian Boudreau 3 years ago

You're scary - and I mean that in a good way. Can't think it would be any better if you got the additional shots. How do you have time to kick back? Perhaps shooting video is your way of kicking back :-)

    A nice video!
