How did you start to learn Add-on ?
any recommendation ?

I printed out the most complex script I could find in the addons dir. specifically the pipe joint one and spent a few days reading it like a book. I then read the python api page(and reread it pay attention to the section on poll errors, it'll bite you.) I then started staring at the blender docs wiki for python 2.5 until I could figure out how you can go from one to the other and back. I would actually recommend looking at my script if you aren't doing modelling tools since I had to figure out a lot of stuff from scratch. I've basically come to the conclusion that operators are a last resort and hopefully we will one day never use them in a script, but in many instances I could find no other way of doing what I wanted. Sorry for the book.
