    Thanks, I am looking for a new lens for the 7d. Recently borrowed a 70-200 F4 but I didn't get the blur in the background like you did. So I hoped it would be the 2.8.

    get closer to the subject, zoom into it and try it.... im able to get some bokeh/blur @ f4 at times

    On a cropped sensor it is harder to get bokeh/subject selection compared to a Full Frame camera, when at larger aperatures. On my D700 and W/ 50mm 1.4 @ f4 I still get awesome subject selection and bokeh. But on a cropped sensor like the 7D it wont be as easy. Get closer to the subject and/or zoom in more if its a zoom lens.

    Great stuff! Wish I could of went. About a 1 1/2 hour drive from me though, and i was hung over all saturday lol.

    I like the track too but I checked out his other stuff and its pretty bad, lol (talking about the music)
