See all Show me
I got hired to make an intro to a pilot here in NYC for a show called Top Florist. Like Top Chef or Top Model or whatever, but with floral arrangements! I think it looks pretty good, though. I used After Effects and Cinema 4D.

    very nice design! :]
was motion tracking used here for the 3D text? like, did u use boujou or something?
i think now you can create very good 3D text all inside after effects, with a Zaxwerks plugin:

reply straight to this comment so i could be notified :]
    thanx!

    elad,
the text and camera move was made inside of cinema 4D. It was then exported and brought into AE, camera data and all. I've used these AE plugins for 3D text, but none of them have the flexibility or the same quality that C4D affords you.

so the text was rendered on a black background? and then u alpha-matte it on AE?
i still dont understand the camera matching. is there a data file you could export from C4D, that copies the camera movement to AE?

and, yes..i totally agree! its the rendering power of Vray\Mental Ray, that 3D softwares have..-that make the big difference...

from C4D you can render out multiple passes, including an alpha matte. C4D also has built-in AE integration, allowing you to output the multiple passes into a comp that can be opened with AE (although you need a special exchange plugin from Maxon). Your camera is there, your lights are there...There's a lot you can do.
