In order to promote responsible fishing techniques and resource sustainability and to prove their responsible approach to fishing, the Seychelles Hook and line Fishermen have launched a Label Program. In partnership with the Seychelles Fishing Authority and the Seychelles Bureau of Standard, a code of conduct, which includes standards criteria, has been established. These standards are the foundation of the Seychelles Label Program and translate the commitments of the fishermen operating under the scheme. Our strategy focus on the multi-attributes certification of the product : selectivity (hook and line), origin, quality & freshness, traceability, resource sustainability & respect of the environment. These attributes allow us to provide to our consumers a “PREMIUM” fish product from Seychelles, unique on the international seafood markets.
