Glória (15' version)
Glória, a private investigator, was left by her husband. Her own predicament is now a mirror image of many of her ordinary cases.
This short film was shot at leisure mostly over one holiday weekend with some friends, and it was heavily improvised in parts. Some of us, including part of cast, were professionals though, and we did manage to end up with a polished look.
The film features Ana Margarida Carvalho ('Veneno Cura'), Inês Mariana Moitas ('Corrente') and others, and music by Little Friend and Public Domain artists Superelvis and Breuss Arrizabalaga Quintet.
This is the the shorter 15 minutes version. There is a longer 22' edit, with more dialogue, a less linear storyline and a final montage exploring the fates of the smaller characters. This one is more faithful to my original shooting script, and I can't decide which one I like best. See the longer version here: vimeo.com/798492
Update (05/2009): the video is now available in HD, which was upconverted from the DV original.

And you have a well-conceived change of shooting style. When we see Gloria alone - your camera is aloof, heroine is obtained lonely. When Gloria is on the street, in a society - camera is mobile, more nervous.
Also I liked the actress.
Although, Eduardo, you have already heard it. :)
