Last night I bought the Speed Racer single off of Amazon... and proceeded to chop it up into bits. The thing I love about mlr and the monome, is that the tactile nature of the combination of the two is super intuitive. Once I got everything set, you just blissfully play around, getting ideas for a performance. And the performance is informed by the way the loops are laid out. I've never had so much fun with a controller before.
