Federal New Democratic Party Leader Jack Layton and Ottawa and District Labour Council Sean McKenny visited the Novotel Ottawa on April 14th. They spoke to Senior VP for Accor (Canada), Eric Buitenhuis, about Accor's behaviour leading up to a union vote at the hotel, urging the company to keep its own commitments to the IUF. They also raised issues that have come up during concurrent drives at the Novotel Mississauga and the Novotel North York.
