I wrote and directed this video for Genie Industries. It was created for use at a large equipment sales convention, helping to sell a $500,000 piece of construction machinery.

The challenge was to create a piece that would capture the eyes, and minds, of conventioneers. No small feat, considering how loud and chaotic a convention floor can be.

This piece was a big hit, and was subsequently re-used at multiple additional events.

"Out of the Blue!" also lived on Genie's web site for many years, where it developed something of a cult following.

This is about as weird as corporate video is ever allowed to get...kudos to Genie for taking a chance!
