BioExpo 2010

The term Synthetic Biology encompasses two separate branches of scientific endeavor. The first attempts to recreate emergent properties of the natural world by
piecing together unnatural molecular parts. The second focuses on assembling systems that behave in a way contrary to nature by using natural parts. Both classes implement the synthesis of base structures to achieve a synthetic goal.
