Presented by Dr. George Hudler, Cornell University Department of Plant Pathology
This session focuses on providing horticulture industry professionals such as lawn and landscapers, arborists and public or private grounds care superintendents with updates on disease pathogens of concern to our landscapes plants and the current effective registered materials which may be incorporated into comprehensive Integrated Pest Management strategy. CCE Master Gardener Volunteers and residential gardeners might find the information useful as well though note that some materials mentioned are only for use by DEC certified pesticide applicators not do it yourself lawn and landscape gardeners.
First broadcast to participating CCE county offices via a March 31, 2010 webinar sponsored by Sustainable Landscapes-Horticulture PWT of Cornell University.
This presentation may contain pesticide recommendations. Changes in pesticide regulations occur constantly, some materials mentioned may no longer be available, and some uses may no longer be legal. All pesticides distributed, sold, and/or applied in New York State must be registered with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). Questions concerning the legality and/or registration status for pesticide use in New York State should be directed to the appropriate Cornell Cooperative Extension Specialist or your regional DEC office. READ THE LABEL BEFORE APPLYING ANY PESTICIDE.
