According to a 2005 report by the Institute of Medicine, approximately 9 million children over 6 years old are obese. The study suggests that childhood obesity should be a national public health priority.

Well, Michelle Obama has made it hers. On Feb. 9, she launched her Let's Move campaign to combat childhood obesity. But, how much of a local priority is this "epidemic"?

Brittney Henton talked to Champaign county school officials and families to find out.
