June 1st, I go training my loaner racing wheelchair (*Crap* cough), out on the road conditions making a lap of various roads used by some of the different races in the area. A sunny but cool day.
My biggest problem, learning to deal with the changs in road surface and cars. The biggest problem I anticipate racing....running people over. I must do 30 miles an hour, the person on the bike can't keep up with me. This is not a little chair, this is a long arrow that does not swerve. And if I hit anyone, I am likely to flip the chair - this face does not do road rash!
