Vancouver 2030 is a story of Jim Scatman who travels in to the future as a spectator and he witnesses a horrible future. Every problem that Jim experiences in the future is based on facts that my partner and I researched and investigated. As we worked on the project, we focused on major social problems: violent and irresponsible citizens’ behaviours; the corrupted police who use their power to endanger the public; the slow and ineffective health care system that cannot save critical patients; enormous amount of Olympic debt that already require us to cut funding for various arts, sports, education programs; nepotism that makes a lot of unemployed people disappointed and hopeless; and finally the climate change issue that needs more attention.
