In this video press release, Democratic members of the Assembly Budget Committee - Chairman Louis D. Greenwald (D-Camden), Vice Chairman Gary S. Schaer (D-Passaic), Gordon M. Johnson (D-Bergen) Peter J. Barnes III (D-Middlesex), Albert Coutinho (D-Essex), Joan M. Quigley (D-Hudson) and John J. Burzichelli (D-Gloucester) - discuss testimony received during the panel's second public hearing on Gov. Christie's FY 2011 Budget.
The testimony taken by the committee reinforces the fact that the governor's proposal disproportionately burdens the middle class and New Jersey residents on fixed incomes.
The public hearing took place Monday in Committee Room 11 of the State House Annex in Trenton. Over 150 people were scheduled to testify.
