The 21st Century Automotive Challenge is to move passengers and cargo from point A to point B using less fossil fuel while consuming less time and money. The competition at Penn State brings competitors in contact with the Penn State Transportation facilities and graduate level transportation research. This segment pays a visit to the Penn State Solar Home, a source of energy for electric cars, and concludes with demonstrations of several braking tests.
