    No real tricks. Just shooting in burst mode. Shoot in burst mode and never stop shooting. Thats about it.

    As a rule I generally shoot as wide open as I can.

    Wide angle lenses work better then long, and the rest is run and gun.

    Im not sure how fast the burst mode is on the 40D. But it might be the same or even faster. The 5D only does 3.9.

    So in theory yes you can.
