Sheba Crater: Spins, Snaps and Rolls

Sheba Crater: Spins, Snaps and Rolls

Dawson Henderson

Here is a video featuring my new LEG Spindrift glider flying the top of Sheba Crater–a volcanic cinder cone located NE of Flagstaff, AZ.

It was a beautiful day with a 22-28 mph wind from the SW... perfect conditions for aggressive acrobatic flying. I concentrated on rolls, snap rolls, spins and tumbles.

The Spindrift is a new plane from Leading Edge Gliders. It is similar to their Le Fish; but with a beefier fuse, shorter wings span and swept leading edge better suited for stall maneuvers.
