    The cat seems to spend about 40-50% of the time out of focus. I understand that the faucet probably confuses the cam a little but is there any way to improve the autofocus?

    I'm finding that one of the camcorder's weak-points is the auto focus with limited light. It's not really an issue in good daylight or a well-lit room. That being said, one can put the camcorder to manual-focus mode.
