"Though I Hear You Calling, I Will Not Answer" is a work for my mother (although it was made at her request).
Like "The World Is Saved" this video is a dream sequence. It features toys that reference family members as well as childhood memories, most notably "Bear." Also included: the sounds of a downtown train, yellow nail polish (a nod to Cat Power) and a count-off over a gravesite.
