As part of the Nike78 project I was asked to challenge the function of a pair of nike trainers.

Nike+ 26 shoes have 26 lights embedded in them so anyone can see how far you've run.
1 light for every mile.

The trainer at the end of the video is a physical prototype that shows how the shoe could look. It can sense movement and ideally would be hooked up to nike+ technology to measure the distance run.

See for more details about the project.
