Thane Rosenbaum, Director of the Forum on Law, Culture & Society, offers a sneak preview of "... And Justice For All," which will be shown Thursday, Oct. 21, during Fordham Law Film Festival. The festival runs Oct. 15-21.
The Oscar-nominated film stars Al Pacino as a hotheaded but ethical defense lawyer who becomes disillusioned with the legal system after being blackmailed into defending a corrupt judge. The examination of the professional and psychological stresses placed on criminal defense attorneys co-stars Craig T. Nelson, Christine Lahti, John Forsythe, and Jeffrey Tambor--in his first movie role.
Rosenbaum's post-screening conversation guests will be Jeffrey Tambor, six-time Emmy-nominated actor for "Arrested Development" and "The Larry Sanders Show," and the film critic and cultural commentator Neal Gabler, who authored "Walt Disney: The Triumph of the American Imagination" and formerly co-hosted the PBS show "Sneak Previews."
