Demonstration of Visual3D's facial animation capabilities, which include lip syncing, facial expressions / emotions, speech recognitions (to speak your dialogue response, and for voice commands). This is shown in the context of a military training simulation, but applies equally well to voice acting (dialogue / conversations) for games and other types of simulations, visualizations and virtual worlds.

Facial animation is not only supported for bone/skeletal-rigged faces, but also for vertex pose/morph/blend target-based animations, which are rarely supported by other engines, but are much more widely available with stock models and DCC / modeling / content creation tools (such as Facial Studio, Poser and DAZ Studio) which don't require $1000's in licensing fees.
