2014 Illinois Archery Whitetail

My Son Bobby and I hunted in Pike County Illinois November 3rd through 11th, 2014. We took a doe and a buck Each. Bobby had never taken a deer with a bow before so it was his first successful archery deer hunt. I took mine on the last day and in an exciting way. The buck trailed my drag line right to the stand and I shot him at almost point blank range.

Both Bobby and I were shooting Mathews bow, he a Creed XS and I a HeliM. I was shooting Swhacker broad heads and Bobby the Rage Hyperdermic. All four deer dropped within sight.
