The Meeting of Civilizations

A Turkish young man is going for a date with his foreign girl friend. When he meets a streetkid he feels like buying a Simit (Turkish pastry) for him. but doesn’t realize, that he’s lost the gift for the girl, a rose. The two lovers are hugging, the streetkid is bringing the lost rose as a symbol for the importance of love in the meeting of civilizations.
