TURN UP THE VOLUME.
Still WIP. I made the character with Mudbox.
It's all hand animated except for the mouth where I used FaceRobot's Lip sinch. The mouth is actually driving many controllers. I then freezed/cleaned the fcurve and added more animation.
I noticed that on hidden line captures, the region's bulging may be perfect but it's more subtle when rendered, so I will exaggerate the region's bulge here and there.
This is without any sculpting. I'll leave that to the very end as I don't want it to interfere with what FR's doing automatically.
Since I didn't use mocap, I added very subtle random movement to the major controllers or else it just looked too 'clean'.
I comped the AO.. but noticed I forgot to add the displacement to the AO pass.
That's why the edges are weird...Duh.
