1. The Fab Faux - Abbey Road Side 2 (mostly)
This Fab Faux recording of most of side two of 'Abbey Road' is a live, in-the-studio performance for a two-camera video shoot. It was originally recorded for The Howard Stern Show and only the audio has been broadcast - until now. Howard and company were kind enough to let us video tape the session.

In the end, there were only three minor guitar fixes and each section was recorded in no more than three takes (most were two).
There are NO added overdubs within this performance.
The audio is pure - and mixed by Joe Chinnici.

Thanks to video director/editor Robert Noonan and assistant videographer, Luke Noonan.

Special thanks to Carl, Frank, Jeremy and Barre - our incredible crew.

Thanks to all at Sirius Radio and especially Howard Stern.

Said about the Fab Faux in this month's Rolling Stone Magazine: "sometimes a tribute band sounds better than the original.". With all respect to the originals, these guys can play.

Saw these guys in person about 3 months ago in San Francisco. Closed my eyes and thought the Beatles were really in the room. Amazing sound!

Exquisite! That's the only word I could think of to describe this. I only hope I spelled it right.
    Exquisite.

If these musicians are considered to be a Cover Band then we need to start calling the NY Philharmonic a Cover Band. Maybe they didn't write this 20th century classic but their performance of it is nothing short of brilliant.

The Beatles started my musical career 46 years ago. Although I don't play professionally any longer I still play one of my axes almost everyday. The Fab Faux are by far the finest Beatle cover band I have ever heard. If there is a better one let them come forward. The vocals are always the hardest part to perfect but I say they nailed them pretty good. The Beatles were the greatest band to ever perform in history and this will always be a special video to me and will be shared with all my musician friends. P.S. Andrew Gold does a good job on the Beatles also. Dennis Blair

No matter where I've seen these guys, from the Village (over 10 years ago) to the Beacon, to a Memorial Day concert in Port Washington on the beach and most recently to a Long Island High School, there isn't a venue that the Fab Faux hasn't EXCELLED in.....once again all us Fuaxnuts agree, can't wait to see them soon, wherever that may be ! Keep up the great work.......awesome as ever !!

MORE!!! MORE!! Please. I have it on loop mode, I've sent it to all my friends and we all want more. How about Abby Road Part 1? Does it exist? The only improvement you've made to the music is the addition of your reverence. Best thing I've heard this year. Thank you.

Oh wow. Incredible. After recently working with several other Youtube musicians (collectively known as The Quarrybastards) to try to recreate this same medley, I can attest to the difficulty in even approaching the music. And we had the luxury of as many takes as needed - doing it LIVE, like these guys did...Oh Wow !!

This really shows why people play music in the first place. We all wanted to be the Beatles. I've never been so happy.

Wonderful. If there is a god, and if god created man in his own image, then man is closest to god when he is being creative. And, if the beatles played music, man is closest to the beatles when he is playing their music. Absolutely wonderful, boys, absolutely wonderful. :)

Of course, I spent the entire time listening for differences, and there were very few. Paul's high notes are definitely the toughest to match. Glad you didn't try to look like them.

I have been in a Beatles Band for thirty years and this is absolutley fantastic. Well done guys, brilliant. Thank heavens my band played all of Abbey Road first, live in 1988, 'cos we could never have achieved this standard, albeit with an extra guitarist.

Like so other Beatles fans here, I was captivated and thrilled by this start-to-finish studio take of Side 2. It was indeed a rush. Amazing attention to sonic detail, and a flawless ensemble performance. I'm waiting for Paul and Ringo to post their applause.

The keyboard/vocalist/tambourine/acoustic guitar/electric guitarist looks a bit like Urban Meyer, the Gators ex-football coach.
