Hi Guys! A bit overdue but we're excited about this one. Some Cappuccino and a bit of a love affair with the Marzocco. Enjoy!

I do apologize, i have seen all your videos but i did not recall seeing an espresso one :P

Anywho I love these videos, there is a certain art to making quality coffee like this, I would love to visit that place, possibly in the summer as i am visiting San Fracsisco, I dont know how far away Venice is though.

These keep getting better! Really great video guys! Also, that machine is so gorgeous. Was amazing to see it up close when I was at the Venice store. Would love to give it a test drive someday.

Very well done! I am an espresso fan and you really link into the wine, microbrew, small-batch coffeemaker growing culture. Doing it right or not at all. Thanks!

How did you do the sound on this it is really fantastic. Was it on-camera mic or mic on subject?
  • The D4D plus 1 year ago
Thanks, Carl. Thanks for the Q - Doubled up with a lav mic on Kyle as well as a shotgun mic for the room. Primarily used the lav. Check out the meat episodes if you haven't already!

Thanks very much for that. Was it a lav mic into a separate recorder like the zoom H4 or a lav into a beachtek attached to the camera. Sorry for the all the questions but sound is the pain in my backside when shooting with the 5D.

There seems there may be water left in the cup per extraction from preheating. Would this be the case?
