45. Mount Wilson, Newnes and Lithgow (Blue mountains)

Our autumn camping trip in the Blue mountains travelling through Bilpin and Mount Wilson to get to Newnes.
Just a quick one to explore more of the area and to try out our new stills camera, as well as use the JVC as our video diary.
Our final destination was a 9 km (round trip) walk up a mountain to see the famous glow worm tunnel.
Oh my was that little stream we had to cross at the start of the track FREEZING!
Unfortunately, and obviously :) the camera's don't capture the glow worms but the journey there was a scenic one.
I'm just glad there were no leeches!
I rather liked the ruins at Lithgow....an old mining ruin? The blast furnace.
The sort of place that would suit a music video perhaps.
The campground at Newnes was a lovely spot and reasonable at $35 for two nights.
Gotta love the flush toilets inside the shower tents! :)

Since uploading the video I've noticed that in the beginning a couple of the photo shots seem out of time.
That has happened before when I've uploaded a video that includes stills. Wondering why?
They are all in sync on my version?

PS Downloaded it and it seems to run in sync.
Ahh the funny moments....they always happen when the camera is not rolling, like when it rained overnight and the tent leaked and I stepped in my socked feet into the puddle or when I stumbled into the annexe ropes in the half dark and fell in an undignified heap....or when early one morning my daughter, Shai came running back from those tented toilets panting "Ten evil chickens just came and tried to peck their way into the toilet and when I unzipped it they CHASED me!"
And of course there's those night time tent conversations ;)
