Awesome vandango! I've fallen in love with the sound of ukuleles and looking to pick one up soon.

There's however a high frequency hum throughout the video never heard before in previous posts. Have you changed cable routings on the desk recently? Maybe something in need of grounding?

I don't believe that is a ukulele, although it has the sound of one.

    ed-Me thinks rastAsia means Uke-ish sound.\
ed what of the uke-ish instruments is your fav.
    (mine baritone uke)

I guess I was taking what rastAsia said too literally because it actually looks like a uke at first glance, and sounds like one as well. I like the baritone sound too, but since I don't have one I would have to go with the Concert. I am however actively trying to get an old Banjo Uke off of ebay because I really like how they sound.

Thanks for correcting me ed. And thanks for supporting my ear hunt for sounds CTD3. ;) I guess this is the American version of the Hawaiian inst Banjolele then. ed's right, hard to differ in both look and sound.

Easy on me ed, I'm asian. LOL.

Curious if there's difference in shape/build between the soprano from the baritone banjolele besides the difference in gCEA and DGBE tuning.

Thank you rastAsia , not sure this one has a high pitched hum . I know I left a portion of camera sound in on "Beatrice" and one of the inspirations to removing the camera sound was the "camera noise" on the PS630A which comes free w/the camera & is disappointing.

I still hear it in all 3 of the days recordings Chris.
Its ok I guess. Its live entertainment. But I'd give it a ground check. Its audible both on monitors and headphones esp when you pump the level up. It hangs at about 6KHz mark. BUT it might be a reaction between my ear and a 4 string guitar. HEHE..

I'll be checking this out since it was something I did not notice on them,
the tech director left several weeks before hand and the station is searching for
a new one to replace him. One of the things we struggle with @ a community (volunteer)
stationis 200 people a week use the gear and some settings are changed and it is very close to impossible to get 100% compliance for people to zero out the gear (leave as found)
most of it we catch in sound check ,, then there's the inadvertent buttom left deppressed when it 'sposed to be out and we can't find it since there is never a reason to touch it (But someone does or did,,)
You my friend have some serious ears and I appreciate the feedback.
Let's see if it comes out on today's guest.

    Thanks,
