Cotton Jones Basket Ride - The Spinning Wheel
1 year ago
I had the opportunity to shoot Michael Nau (Page France, Cotton Jones Basket Ride) playing his original song "The Spinning Wheel" at the Third Floor in Fredericksburg, VA. My brother and Indigenous Productions co-producer, Brandon Poe, helped with the lighting. We used the JVC HD110U and recorded the sound live.

Great stuff...I am planning on doing some documentary projects, and one of the cams I am looking at is the 110u-how does it compare (image quality-wise) w/ cams like xhA1 and HVX200? Thanks!
Obviously the biggest impact on image quality is going to be the person holding the camera. That said, I'd say the 110U falls somewhere in between the XHA1 and the HVX200. However, I like the feel of the "pro" lens on the 110U. That was the determining factor for me. Also keep in mind that the 110U shoots 720P, whereas the XHA1 does 1080i. The HVX200 does 720P or 1080i and the HVX200A does 1080P. Hope that helps.
thank you!
happy festive season t'ya!
