Mike that was great! I am totally stealing your dolly trick. :-)

What a great way to spend a weekend...

    Cheers,

I don't know why, but the shot of the Unicorn reminds me of the Cremaster Cycle.

I especially liked the reflection of the ceiling fan in the mirror-- the steady shots are fantastic as well.

    Utterly disturbing, but enjoyable indeed.

    Very nice Unicorn costume....
What cam was this shot on???
  • Michael Ragen plus 2 years ago
It was shot with a Red Camera.

  • What kind of optics did you put on it?
  • Michael Ragen plus 2 years ago
Red 18-50 T3 zoom and a super old Arri Bayonet mount 50mm.
  • Hmm, haven't had a chance to see any of the Red optics myself yet (don't think they're actually in Norway yet), what did you think of it?
  • Michael Ragen plus 2 years ago
The Red 18-50 is a nice compact lightweight zoom. It makes sharp images. I wish it were faster, and mechanically its not as nice as say an Ultra prime or a Cooke, but for the money its I thinks it great. I have gotten a lot of use out of it. Supposedly the upcoming 18-85 and their primes are on a whole different level mechanically speaking.

    I loved the feet shots.

The last shot in slow motion is incredible.

  • Nice original short. The music in combination with the shot of her feet while walking was brilliant.
