Got my hands on a HV20. Shot some footage at the Montreal Fashion & Design Festival 2008 held this weekend June 8,2008 during the Montreal Formula One Grand Prix (only race in North America this year).

Nice camera. Wish I had a better vantage point and tripod. Rough cut in Vegas. Still getting the hang of it.

This was my first experiment with 24p. Pulled with cineform. I used cine mode and graded with MB Looks for fun (is available for Vegas now) The video is more pixelated(after Vimeo's re-compression) than I would have liked but I guess that's due to the my shakiness and all the action. I think I rendered it correctly. Maybe 24p was not the way to go for this. The original upload is better. I would like to know where I went wrong or if my assumptions are correct.

I realize it's a bit long but it was a test and there are some nice visuals :)
