Visualist Interview: Josh Cardenas - Midi Controlled Robotic Cameras

In April 2008 I caught up with Josh Cardenas - visceralx.com - the day after his performance at Brisbane Powerhouse with DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist on the Hard Sell tour. Apart from the excellent traditional visuals, the show features some impressive DIY pan and scan camera rigs controlled via midi. In this video, Josh demos one of these cameras, taking us through the bits required to built them, VVVV software control, and further possible uses.
