On the way to Tofino, I saw my first ever bear (outside of a zoo, that is). It looked to be a young bear but still quite big. I was filming from inside the car. The bear didn't seem to care. I actually saw another one later on in the exact same situation (eating grass alongside the road). That one was near Port Renfrew - another very remote place further south.

    I have encountered bear in the wild and it is an incredible feeling. You got some great shots of the bear doing what it does best, looking for food.

    Nice one. Ive seen a few by the road on trips to the east coast but never have a camera at the time. Im about 3 hours north or Toronto and we have to watch for moose at night on the highways
