Created for STA 467: Time and Motion during spring semester 2010.

For this project, I had to use Flash to frame information about a local initiative, issue, place and/or person from my community (current or historical) while focusing on motion as an information space. I chose the MSU Comic Art collection on the basis that lots of people don't even know we have such an amazing collection at MSU.

The idea behind the animation itself was to emulate a 60s PSA-style presentation, with cheesy narration, black and white color scheme, and tacky background music.

I created multiple storyboards in preparation, took my own photos, drew all the vector illustrations, scripted the animation, and narrated the animation in that cheesy voice.
